My Dream School..

If I could pick any College to attend after graduating from high school I would go to USC.  The University of Southern California has been my dream school since I was a little kid. I want to go to USC not only to get my Teacher’s Credential, but to also play football as a Trojan.  I would pick USC over any other school because that is truly my dream school and where I want to end up.  I believe that USC could help me get to where I want to be in life and I know I would have a great time there.

In 5 Years...

Do you know where you’ll be 5 years from now? My first year I plan on graduating from Costa Mesa High School with a 4.0 GPA; I’ll be playing football, basketball, and baseball as a Mustang. I’ll have a Part-Time job at Pizza Hut so I’ll be able to pay for college. I’ll be working at the OC Fair over the summer, so I’ll get enough money to get myself a car.

My second year ill be attending IVC working on getting my teacher’s credential. I’ll also be working on getting a degree in Sports Training and maybe for an accountant. I like working with numbers, but I also like to work with kids and play sports. I want to play football and basketball while attending college. I’ll be looking for my own place and saving some money to move out and get my own apartment. . Since this is my first year out of High School, I’m going to get out of California and explore. I want to go to Amsterdam with a few of my friends for a little vacation.

Going into my third year, I’ll be working on getting an apartment. Most likely I’ll have a friend as a roommate so I could save some money for school. I’m going to have a new job by now. I’ll be working at Sprouts for my brother, this new job will help me get the bills paid and put money away for school as well. After being out of High School for 2 years now, I want to go on another vacation, at least one every year. I’ll probably go to Virginia to go visit some of my family that I haven’t seen since I was little.

After being in College for 2 years, I’m going to need a break. I’ll be 21 and I should have my own apartment, car, and girlfriend. Since I just turned 21, most likely ill be taking a trip out to Las Vegas. I want to have a kid before I turn 22 so I’ll be working on that as well as working on getting a house for my family.

I plan on being done with college in 4 years and getting a job as a teacher at Costa Mesa High School. I know what I have to do to get to where I want to be; I just have to try to get there. If the teacher job doesn’t come through, I’ll try to be a Sports Trainer. My goal is to become a Sports Trainer for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Letter of Rec.

April 1, 2011

Mr. Walske
Computer Teacher
Back Bay High School
390 Monte Vista Ave.
Costa Mesa, CA 92626

Dear Mr. Walske:

Daniel Garduno is one of my best students in class. He is always on time, on task, and is very energetic. Daniel is a very hard worker; he always does his work and can help out other students when they’re in need. He has a very positive attitude and is always in a good mood. He works well with others and can also get the job done by himself.

Daniel is an athlete as well as a great student. He plays football, basketball, and baseball. Daniel is very dedicated and also very competitive. He isn’t afraid to compete and he likes a challenge. He has been playing sports since he was very small; he stuck with sports and is now a great athlete.

Mr. Garduno does a lot of work outside of school. He is taking college classes at OCC and is also playing basketball with a club team, Old School. Daniel makes the best of his time and does the right things to get him to the right places.

Sincerely,

Daniel Garduno
